The Lake Street Church is located at the intersection of Lake Street and Chicago Avenue in Evanston, Illinois.
If you are driving in on 94 (the Edens), exit at Dempster EAST, and continue to Chicago Avenue. Turn left, and go two blocks to Lake Street.
The CTA’s Purple Line has a stop at Dempster, and from there, it is a short walk north on Sherman Place to Lake Street. The Church is one block east from the intersection of Sherman and Lake Street.
PARKING
Some free street parking is available. There is information about Evanston parking here. A map of parking lots is here. Note that parking is free on Sunday and there are 4 lots near the church.
*PARKING UPDATE*
Two neighborhood churches – Immanuel Lutheran and First Presbyterian – have offered parking spaces for us to use during all of Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening. Passes for your dash will be available at the Welcome Desk for a $10 donation for the whole time.
Please note that it is always free to park in Evanston garages and lots on Sundays.
