Doors will open at 6pm on Friday
Come dance and jam with the finest callers and music in the Midwest!
We will dance this year at the
Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 N Knox, Chicago, IL
Take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd and 4th floors.
There is a ramp to the back door from the north parking lot
Please bring a clean, dry, non-marking pair of shoes to change into for dancing to keep the recently refinished wood floor nice.

Based on feedback received from dancers and musicians in the past several years, we have revised the way we schedule musicians and callers for our evening dances. We aim to be as inclusive as possible to the many callers and musicians that join us to be a part of the Breaking Up Thanksgiving tradition. Because we no longer have the time and space to dance all night, as we once did, our band and caller slots are now fewer. To ensure a smooth transition from one set to the next, we have pre-scheduled musicians and callers, featuring many of your (and our) Midwest favorites! We strive to maintain the high quality of dancing, music and calling that this wonderful weekend has always been known for.
